About Balmann

Balmann was created with a simple ambition: to bring the elegance, warmth, and magic of Europe’s most beautiful Christmas traditions to the heart of Dubai.

The name carries a dual inspiration.
“Balm” evokes comfort, warmth, and the feeling of a welcoming home.
“Mann” pays tribute to the founder’s Alsatian and Germanic roots — a region where Christmas is not just a season, but a true cultural art form.

By combining these two elements, Balmann embodies the idea of a “man of comfort” — someone who brings the magic, light, and warmth of Christmas into every home.
From this vision, Balmann Tree was born, with a clear mission: to turn every tree into the centrepiece of an elegant, warm, and unforgettable Christmas.

A vision: turning the Christmas tree into a true centrepiece

For the founder, the Christmas tree is not just a decoration — it is the very heart of Christmas.
The tree itself carries the emotion, the presence, and the spirit of the season.

Even if a Christmas tree is artificial, it should feel real.
It should recreate that unmistakable presence that fills a room and makes Christmas come alive.
This belief guides every detail of Balmann Tree.

Each model is crafted with exceptional realism using Real-Needle foliage and premium materials, designed to become the centrepiece of a sophisticated interior: balanced shapes, rich density, sculpted branches, and colour palettes curated with precision.

This is a tree that doesn’t just sit in a room — it defines it.

A heritage rooted in Alsace and Germany — the birthplace of the Christmas tree

The Christmas tree tradition was born between Alsace and Germany, centuries ago:

  • 1521 – Sélestat, Alsace : first written record of a decorated Christmas tree.

  • 16th century Germany : trees decorated with apples, nuts and candles as symbols of hope and renewal.

  • 17th–18th century : tradition spreads across Alsace, the Black Forest and the Germanic regions.

  • 19th century : the Christmas tree becomes a central symbol of European Christmas celebrations.

This cultural heritage is what inspires Balmann — a brand shaped by the lands where the Christmas tree was born, at the heart of half-timbered houses, winter markets, and festive traditions more than five centuries old.

Balmann brings this heritage into modern design, creating trees that, above all, honour history.

A promise: the art of the eternal
